ABeam Consulting reinforced its commitment to workforce development by actively participating in the ASEAN-Japan Human Resource Development Forum, held at the AYANA Midplaza, Jakarta.
The forum convened over 200 on-site participants alongside 500 online attendees, featuring strategic discussions and case studies on how Japan-ASEAN leaders can foster industrial talent through collaboration between industry, academia, and government.
With the rapidly changing global markets, ASEAN's manufacturing sector is driven to pursue structural transformation through Digital Transformation (DX) and Green Transformation (GX). To respond to these challenges, it is essential to develop practical industrial talent that meets companies’ needs and build a human resource development ecosystem through industry-academia-government collaboration.
During the forum, ABeam Consulting shared insights on HR development in the ASEAN manufacturing sector to support transformation through DX and GX. Representing the firm, ABeam Consulting Ltd. Sustainable SCM Strategy Unit Principal Shuhei Toyoshima addressed the participants as a key speaker.
The event was held in a hybrid format with simultaneous interpretation in Indonesian, English, and Japanese. The forum brought together representatives from government, industry, companies, and educational institutions to discuss the future of ASEAN manufacturing and explore opportunities for practical collaboration.
The forum successfully facilitated dynamic exchanges between industry leaders and policymakers, ending with a networking lunch that allowed stakeholders to further discuss actionable strategies. ABeam Consulting remains dedicated to supporting the industry through strategic workforce initiatives and looks forward to future opportunities to contribute to talent development across Southeast Asia.
