A Glimpse into Consulting: ABeam Consulting Brings "Life as an SAP Consultant" to ITHB Bandung

On 29 May, ABeam Consulting Indonesia successfully conducted an external event seminar activity held at Institut Teknologi Harapan Bangsa (ITHB), Bandung. This event was designed as part of our ongoing engagement with academic institutions to share industry knowledge and provide students with practical insight into technology-driven careers.

As digital transformation continues to reshape industries, organizations increasingly rely on integrated enterprise systems to streamline operations and support strategic decision-making. In this context, the role of a SAP Consultant has become highly relevant, serving as a critical link between business requirements and technology solutions.

Through this seminar, Cut Muna Kartika, Enterprise Deputy BU Lead, aimed to introduce students to Life as a SAP Consultant, offering a realistic overview of the profession and highlighting how SAP Consultants contribute to improving business efficiency and enabling organizational transformation. The session focused on helping students understand career opportunities within the SAP ecosystem and the skills required to succeed in this field.

The seminar session covered the key responsibilities of an SAP Consultant, including business process analysis, solution design, system implementation, user collaboration, and ongoing system optimization. In addition to technical knowledge, Annisa Nurhaniyah, Talent Acquisition Senior Associate, emphasized the importance of essential soft skills and professional mindset, such as effective communication, analytical thinking, adaptability and a strong understanding of business processes. These were highlighted as key differentiators for professionals pursuing a career as a SAP Consultant.
