For the last couple of months, together with Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) Career Center, ABeam Consulting Indonesia launched the joint-course collaboration.

The course, which brings together more than 30 enthusiastic participants, gives students exposure to solving consulting business problems utilizing analytics frameworks and machine learning techniques. Designed and delivered by ABeam’s industry experts, the curriculum focuses on equipping students with the skills they need to tackle complex business issues.

From day one, students have been engaged in both the theoretical and practical aspects of business analytics consulting. This involvement allows students to not only build a strong foundational base of knowledge but also enables them to apply it befittingly to various industry use cases.

"Being a student myself not so long ago, the limited exposure to the industry often becomes a hindrance for students to showcase their skills.” Parada Sormin, Senior Consultant at ABeam Consulting Indonesia, told. “We provide the platform for students not only for strengthening their base knowledge and developing technical skills, but most importantly, for learning how they can showcase these skills to solve business issues, allow them to thrive in any industry they choose after graduation.”

Shun Kaida, Manager at ABeam Consulting Indonesia, also highlights the importance of this course to unleash students’ capabilities to their fullest. “This course places a strong emphasis not only on building theoretical knowledge in statistics and machine learning, but also on enabling students to gain hands-on experience in applying data analytics to real-world business problems. In actual business settings, the key lies in solving problems effectively — and technical skills alone are not sufficient.”

“Students from Indonesia’s leading science and technology university possess outstanding academic capabilities. Through this program, we aim to help them develop not just data science expertise but also the ability to structure and address complex business challenges. It is an honor for us to contribute to edifying such high-level talent across Indonesia through this initiative.” Kaida ended his statement.

This collaboration reflects our commitment to education, innovation, and nurturing the next generation of digital consultants. As we look forward to the rest of the semester, we remain dedicated to sharing real industry insights and cultivating future talent. Until the next lecture!
