Exeltis (Thailand), a part of the Spanish multinational Insud Pharma, was established in Bangkok in 2007 with a primary focus on improving the health and well-being of women worldwide. In August 2023, the company initiated a process to enhance and optimize expense management, anticipating process standardization through integration with their enterprise system. This improvement initiative is specifically targeted at Exeltis (Thailand)  and its counterpart in the Philippines, Exeltis Philippines. As both entities have staff members spread across Thailand and the Philippines, there is a crucial need to support the staff in managing various expenses. Exeltis (Thailand) chose ABeam Consulting (Thailand) as its partner, and they were impressed by the company's proposal meeting all requirements regarding budget, solutions, and delivery date. The implementation of CONCUR EXPENSE, a SaaS-enabled expense management solution, has been introduced to Exeltis. ABeam Consulting's CONCUR EXPENSE solution package provides a comprehensive service, encompassing the assessment of current operations and transformation into the desired state. This involves optimizing current procedures by leveraging CONCUR EXPENSE features. Ms. Rica Marcelo of Exeltis Philippines offered the following remark: “ABeam Consulting was the right choice for this project. Their diligence and extensive supervision gave us the confidence that we will finish within the desired timeline and outcome.”

The project, executed from August to November 2023, demanded efficient expense management and seamless integration with the existing ERP system in Thailand and the Philippines. ABeam Consulting (Thailand) strategically employed its templates and extensive SAP experience to harmonize each country's expense policies and ensure stable operations. While adjustments in user operations were required for alignment with the desired state, the impact of these changes was minimized through comprehensive training for key users. The successful completion of the project within the designated timeframe was a result of the collaborative efforts of Exeltis, Embil’s financial controller, and the project team.

While concerns about capabilities and system limitations were addressed, ABeam, an official CONCUR implementation partner, effectively applied its knowledge and experience with SAP CONCUR solutions to craft a process that aligns with their desired stage.
