Defining HR materialities centered around the value creation cycle and rooted in business strategy

ABeam Consulting considers “coordination between business strategy and HR strategy” to be the key factor of effective human capital management. We define “HR materialities” as the key HR issues that will lead to the success of the business strategy.

Our four HR materialities are connected to the “value creation cycle” at the core of our business strategy. We have established targets for each materiality to be achieved by FY2027 as our “vision,” established KGIs to help achieve those targets, and incorporated them into our HR policies. These policies are the framework of our human capital management, fostering the ABeam “social transformation accelerator” that seeks to solve social issues.

Developing employee capabilities and fostering global personnel

At ABeam Consulting, “People” are our one and only asset, and the entire company is committed to human capital development.

Courses are held daily with on-site consultants serving as instructors to teach IT skills and industry knowledge.

These training courses are not limited to in-house group training, but also offered through e-learning and training at project sites, and are used to develop skills of our employees.

Supporting self-improvement

ABeam Consulting pays one-time bonuses to employees for obtaining work-related public certifications to support employee self-improvement. We also have a supplementary system for renewal fees so employees can maintain their certifications.

We also support our employees’ efforts to master foreign languages by offering discounts on language school fees and school entrance costs, and organizing group TOEIC examinations. We foster an environment of employee self-improvement through activities such as learning groups and case study investigation groups.
