ABeam Consulting: Turning AI into Measurable Business Value Remains a Major Challenge for Many Organizations

Press Release

Apr 7, 2026

As Artificial Intelligence (AI) adoption accelerates across industries, many organizations in Thailand are struggling to translate technology investment into lasting business value, according to ABeam Consulting (Thailand).

“Many organizations turn to AI hoping for quick efficiency wins, but without transforming business processes and bringing people along, it’s hard to see real impact on how decisions are made and executed,” said Supreeda Jirawongsri, Deputy Managing Director at ABeam Consulting (Thailand) Ltd.
“As a result, AI initiatives remain fragmented, stuck at the proof-of-concept stage, and fail to deliver meaningful impact on overall business performance.”

ABeam Consulting notes that while AI experimentation has become widespread, few organizations can scale initiatives into sustained operational and financial value. This challenge is reflected in findings from the 2025 Gartner AI Maturity Survey, which indicate that only organizations with strong data foundations, clear performance measurement, and organizational trust in AI are consistently able to maintain AI initiatives over the long term.

Based on ABeam Consulting’s experience supporting multinational enterprises across industries, limited AI impact often stems from organizations failing to reposition AI as a core management capability, instead treating it as a series of isolated efficiency initiatives.

“AI allows organizations to move away from traditional trade-offs, where leaders feel forced to choose between speed and governance or cost and quality. When AI is embedded into planning, execution, and performance monitoring, it becomes possible to achieve these objectives together—driving growth, profitability, and operational discipline at the same time.” said Supreeda

These challenges are forcing organizations to rethink transformation programs. Traditional Business Process Reengineering (BPR) may deliver short-term efficiency, but its static, periodic approach struggles in fast-changing environments, where rising costs, supply chain volatility, and workforce constraints demand data-driven, predictive execution.

Supreeda said, “Process redesign alone is no longer sufficient. As business complexity increases, execution gaps widen. To close this gap, organizations must embed data-driven and predictive capabilities into daily operations so execution can adapt in real time and remain aligned with business objectives.”

ABeam Consulting emphasizes that realizing sustainable value from AI is less about deploying new tools and more about rethinking how the organization operates. This means redesigning both the operating model and the AI and data platform, rather than treating AI as a standalone technology initiative.

In practice, a future-ready, AI-driven organization brings together integrated internal and external data, supported by a strong data management foundation and clear governance. On top of this, advanced analytics and AI provide predictive insights, guided by a centralized AI & Data Center of Excellence, while ongoing AI talent development helps embed new, data-driven ways of working across the organization.

With these elements in place, organizations can gradually move from reactive operations to continuous, intelligence-led execution.

“AI is not an end goal, but a means to support the management agenda. Organizations that align AI initiatives with financial objectives—such as cost efficiency, productivity, and risk management—are far more likely to sustain results. With an end-to-end approach that integrates strategy, operating model design, data and platform development, and execution support, AI investments can be translated into measurable business outcomes. For today’s C-suite, the priority is ensuring AI initiatives are clearly linked to strategic goals and financial performance.” Supreeda concluded.
