ABeam Consulting adopts SAP® Hybris® ABeam Digital® QEP (Quick Experience Package) Launched as a One-Stop Shop to Support Omni-Channel Experience ~ Four solutions on ABeamCloud are provided to meet enterprise needs ~

Tokyo 2017/Mar./3 : ABeam Consulting Ltd. (head office: Chiyoda-ku Tokyo, president: Toshinori Iwasawa) today announced that it has begun to start provisioning ABeam Digital® QEP. ABeam Digital QEP is designed to help improve the customer experience in the digital era by offering the omni-channel SAP® Hybris® solutions with ABeam Consulting’s expertise and technology.

For many enterprises, customer-facing activities are becoming more complex, especially given the challenges of globalization and technology advancement. Enterprises are facing the demand to seamlessly connect the internal and external value chain to improve customer loyalty and provide a consistent customer experience at all touch points. Despite implementation of IT tools, issues often arise due to the need for high-speed response that exceeds system implementation and suboptimization of a channel, for example, leading to poor customer experience and decline in sales.

“ABeam Digital® QEP” is based on the functionality of SAP Hybris, which supports an omni-channel customer experience. Taking advantage of ABeam Consulting’s knowledge, the ABeam Digital QEP service comprises functions such as front-channel management (in-store, ecommerce, mobile) to maximize the customer experience, digital marketing, subscription billing and customer service. Service provision through the business innovation platform “ABeam Cloud” helps enable enterprises to implement the necessary best practices in a short time at low cost. In addition, ABeam Digital QEP provides integration with enterprise software such as SAP S/4HANA® and related business transformation/IT support for a true omni-channel experience that easily connects the enterprise value chain.

Solutions provided by “ABeam Digital® QEP” are the following:

  • E2e: With SAP Hybris Commerce at its core, the solution set leverages ABeam Consulting’s knowledge in ecommerce-related operations, end-to-end. In addition to a consistent user interface throughout apps for stores, ecommerce and mobile, the solution supports customer arrival detection, back-end operation flow and various system integration methods for master data.
  • yCom: yCom is a solution for the business-to-business enterprise that leverages integration of SAP Hybris Commerce with SAP S/4HANA to support starting up an ecommerce business or to reduce costs via a more efficient order process, using a web payment function. By taking advantage of pre-defined sales/logistics business processes on SAP S/4HANA, implementation can be completed in a minimum of 16 weeks.
  • yMkt: yMkt is a rapid-deployment solution with SAP Hybris Commerce and SAP Hybris Marketing at its core. It utilizes analytics for supporting strategy planning/execution for a customer loyalty and digital marketing program.
  • yB: With SAP Hybris Billing at its core, the solution supports a variety of billing calculations such as periodical billing (subscription) and pay-per-use charges, as well as consolidated customer/contract/billing management and debt collection.

Price and duration depends on the criteria for provision, but yCom can reduce implementation time by up to two-thirds, and implementation can be conducted in a minimum of 16 weeks with an initial cost around 60 million yen.

”ABeam Digital® QEP” is available via ABeam’s partner managed cloud to lower initial license purchase cost. With this model, ABeam Consulting purchases the license and provides it as a part of ABeam Cloud’s service to client companies. The license cost can be divided by period.

“We are very pleased that ABeam Consulting has announced the launch of ABeam Digital QEP on ABeam Cloud,” said Patrick Finn, vice president, SAP Hybris Global Channel. “The solution helps customers in various industries and business sectors to expand their business, taking advange of ABeam consulting expertise. We anticipate that ABeam Digital QEP will help customers accelerate their digital transformation with a convenient one-stop solution.”
