Support for the Kamonohashi Project’s Activities

Utilizing consulting skills to support activities to create a world without human trafficking

The NPO Kamonohashi Project is a Japanese non-profit organization operating in Asia with the mission of creating a world without human trafficking .

ABeam Consulting empathizes with this mission and the nature of the project and has been supporting the activities of Kamonohashi Project since FY2016. Our two main initiatives are as follows.

① Skill Support (pro bono activities)
As a global firm, we provide various types of support by leveraging our consulting skills.
Specifically, our younger members are leading the way to support the following initiatives.

• Event Planning and Organizing: Internal Lectures, Support for Charity Marathons, etc.
• Fact-based Consulting: Analyzing Supporter Data to Improve Profitability, Reforming Member Operations to Improve Efficiency, etc. of Kamonohashi Project.

The results of our support have led to an updated fundraising strategy for Kamonohashi Project, a strengthened operational structure, and the development of junior staff. In addition, by applying our consulting skills to these activities, ABeam's young members are able to improve their abilities and thus give back to the company’s core business.

② Financial Support (corporate donations)
We have been making corporate donations on an ongoing basis since FY2016. These donations are used for the Kamonohashi Project’s operations in India and Japan.

We will continue to expand our support as a Real Partner in both pro bono activities and corporate donations to help Kamonohashi Project achieve its mission.
 

ABeam has been very attentive to our organization’s concerns and challenges in our activities and continues to provide us with a wide range of support. The team is always impressed by their serious commitment and truly useful output.
 

We will leverage our knowledge as a global firm to support Kamonohashi Project in accomplishing its mission

As the world develops and social issues become more complex, I believe that we are entering an era that demands the co-creation of value across sectors, including business, government, NPOs and NGOs.

As an example of this, I believe that it is very significant for ABeam to leverage our knowledge as a global firm and work together with Kamonohashi Project to address human trafficking, which is said to be one of the most difficult problems to solve around the world.

In fact, through our past support activities, I have found that there is a high affinity between consulting services that solve corporate problems and social businesses that solve social problems.

Going forward, I hope to further expand our support and work together as a Real Partner until the mission of Kamonohashi Project is accomplished.
