"and Beyond Company"
Participating in a Cross-Sectoral Platform for Solving Social Issues in Japan
Launched in 2018, "and Beyond Company" (aBC) provides a platform for individuals, NPOs/NGOs, companies, and public institutions to co-work on solving social issues and engage in cross-sector collaboration. It aims to achieve “collective impact” by taking a dynamic approach that encourages the creation of a proactive society that is keen to tacking challenges in collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
aBC is a “Teal Organization”, whose members make decisions autonomously, and ABeam Consulting is supporting it to become a better decentralized autonomous organization through a visualization and evaluation of its current position. In FY2020, we also worked with our partners to review aBC's mission, vision, and values, as well as to develop strategies through scenario planning.
We are also involved in the operation of "Beyond Meeting" an event that encourages the efforts of agenda owners who are taking on social issues by connecting them with individuals and organizations that want to offer their support. ABeam assists agenda owners with their preparations and presentations. Each time, we are inspired by the passion and chemistry we get during the event and gain insight from agenda owners who are active in diverse fields.
Going forward, ABeam hope to continue contributing to solving social issues through this new cross-sectoral initiative.
