Announcement of the Publication of the Report on the "SDGs Business Model Formulation Survey with the Private Sector for training electrical equipment engineers through industry-academia collaborative education business utilizing BIM design model"

We are pleased to announce that the report on the "SDGs Business Model Formulation Survey with the Private Sector for training electrical equipment engineers through industry-academia collaborative education business utilizing BIM design model" has been published. The study was commissioned by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and conducted by JESCO Holdings, Inc. (JESCO), SOBA Project, Inc. (SOBA), and ABeam Consulting as an external partner.

The study aimed to explore the feasibility of a project to provide advanced BIM education in Vietnam by utilizing BIM courses offered at a Japanese university and JESCO's employee training programs, as well as SOBA's online learning platform. The project also aims to introduce trained human resources to relevant companies.

The report investigates the feasibility of the project and formulates a business development plan. It is expected to contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Target 4.4, which states "By 2030, substantially increase the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent work and entrepreneurship," and Target 8.2, which states "Achieve higher levels of economic productivity through diversification, technological upgrading and innovation, including through a focus on high-value-added and labor-intensive sectors."
