The client had purchased another Fund Management Business with a similar portfolio and some complementary management and product strengths. Without disrupting client services, they needed to achieve the rapid integration of the two businesses and make the combined organisation stronger in all areas. Critical to the process was retaining key staff and ensuring that the new organisation worked effectively throughout the transition. The client also needed to make cost savings in the back and front offices to help fund the acquisition.
