ABeam Consulting Wins SAP AWARD OF EXCELLENCE 2010 in Two Categories

TOKYO, JAPAN – Feb. 26, 2010 – ABeam Consulting, a leading global provider of business transformation services, today announced that it has been honored in two categories with the SAP AWARD OF EXCELLENCE 2010, a prize bestowed by SAP Japan to praise partners that exemplify excellence. It is the 13th consecutive year since the award was established in 1998 in which ABeam has received the honor in the Service Partner category.

Details of the award are as follows:

＜Service Partner Category (13 years in a row) ＞
Reason: Selected as being among the top five system implementation partners in terms of score in the Customer Satisfaction Survey conducted in 2009.

＜Project Award Category (9 years in a row) ＞

• KAO Corp. Blue Wolf 2009 SAP Domestic System Implementation Project
  

Reason: The KAO Global standard enterprise information system was newly developed based on the template for overseas deployment already completed. ABeam achieved the implementation of transformative changes encompassing eight domestic production plants and more than 2,500 users, fully exploiting the newest technologies and functions on a NetWeaver platform.

• Teijin Ltd. G-ONE (companywide accounting) Project

Joint award for work with NEC Corp. Reason: In the process of SAP system implementation as part of the pursuit of global excellence, systems were developed for optimum exploitation of accounting information. And information systems infrastructure development was also undertaken for their deployment overseas. Rapid implementation was made possible by seamless collaboration with Infocom, NEC and ABeam in execution of the project.
