In order to expand both its product lines and global locations, Advantech needed to eliminate data inconsistencies and streamline transactions among subsidiaries—each with their own database.

A track record of delivering real value. ABeam previously supported Advantech with a feasibility study on ERP implementation, which included ABeam’s diagnostic services on how to improve existing supply chain and financial processes.

SAP-based enterprise system implementation, featuring:

• Enterprise transactions that integrate subsidiaries with capabilities to link documents at various process stages on both sides of transactions, increasing traceability and data consistency
• SAP CTO process for correctly linking all related material for processing and analyzing product line configurability, cost and revenue

REAL BENEFITS

Based on the operational model designed by ABeam and the initial system implementation in Taiwan, Advantech successfully performed an independent system roll out to all of its subsidiaries, enabling data transparency across its global organization. Advantech gained improved cost/revenue analysis and better tracking of complicated, configurable product lines.
